Attention: If you see me, let me know where I am

So it's now Monday, moments away from turning to Tuesday and I haven't bothered to post since last Thursday. Aren't I lazy. I will back date some photo blogs, but really, I've just been super lazy. And busy I guess one could even argue.

Friday/Saturday involved only two things. The first being trips to the library, or reading from home.. the second being the bars. Friday night, myself and Rob left the library at 11pm to head to the bars and hit up several of them. We watched a live band at Jack's, went to a terrible Mardi Gras Party at Jim Bob's, and then ended the night at the Ceeps. That was the best part as I was lucky enough to run into a bunch of friends I had not seen in a while. Saturday on the other hand was just Ceeps. This was a wonderful night because it was the first time I have seen my next door neighbor Les drink! She was quite entertaining. Unfortunately all the people I left with went home early... made me sad. Lucky for me I met an awesome girl Kaleigh who helped me forget my friends were gone. Once home from the bar I had one of the quickest 'get home to sleeping' speeds ever.

Sunday was by far the best day of the weekend though. Up bright and early to head to Toronto with Lauren. We stopped off briefly to visit her folks and have a wonderful dinner (thanks!!) then continued into Toronto. We arrived at the Kool Haus at 6pm, and the third best concert I've ever been to started at 6:30. We went to see Jack's Mannequin. They also had three openers; The Fury, The Audition and Head Automatica. The opening bands all played great sets, and I even got to meet two of them, but the show was stolen by Jack's Mannequin.

This was the second time I've had the opportunity to see Andrew McMahon perform (last time with Something Corporate) and he still is my long running favorite performer. He put on an amazing show playing 12 of 13 Jack's songs, pulling out 2 SoCo songs and even threw a cover of "Message in a Bottle" in the encore. He is just overall, unbelievable. I do recommend taking the opportunity to see Jack's or SoCo if they come within hours of you.

After the show we simply made our way back to London on the most cracked out drive ever. The whole way we figured we would be abducted by aliens because we were seeing the strangest lights! Luckily we were not, and if it wasn't for the McD's people fucking up my order, it would have been the perfect drive.

Today was just a long day. My only class ended up canceled which meant sitting in Periodicals, in the library, reading and preparing for my exam tomorrow. I'm not quite ready, but with my alarm set for 8:30, and plans to be back in Weldon for 9, I will be ready come tomorrow afternoon. The only shit part is the fact I am essentially stuck on campus from 9am til 1am when the Foot Patrol shift I am picking up is over. Oh well, just another day in London.

Reading week is also shaping up nicely. Me and Rob finally have it planned to wake up, go to the Library by 11:30, hit the gym at 4:30, then come home and ether waste our lives on the PS3, or hit up random bars we wouldn't normally go to. Should make for an awesome break. I'm also getting very anxious to go get my tattoo on the Friday. I've been saying it for over a year, and other than I am afraid (upper arm is a pretty prominant spot) I think I have finally convinced myself that I need to do it. It will stop all the constant wanting it, and thinking about it, and talking about it. We shall see, if I don't go anywhere and just stay in London, it will be done.
