4 More Days

Well, we are down to just 4 days of work left. I am rather excited to get out of Barrie and head back to London. I am sucking huge at keeping up with my diet, but my weight isn't suffering too bad. I've put a bit back on sadly. Still looking better which makes me happy.

We lost our championship game last night in the Essa division. I scored a goal, got a couple penalties and overall was a goon. Not good. Amy was not impressed, neither was my father. I did not have a good game. Ah well, I still wish I could have fought the one douche. Heh.

12 Stories Up Thinking About One Story

Well, I am currently sitting in a hotel room on the 12th floor of the Novotel in North York looking out at my car hoping it doesn't get towed for being 1 hour past my parking, oops. I am about 5 minutes away from checking out, but I want a life like this. I want to live in Condo's in downtown Toronto, with a nice gym, and pool, and be able to look out at the world every morning, then walk to work. Come on big fancy job in PR. Woot Woot.

I have to go though. Time to drive home. Ungh.

7 Days, 1.5 lbs


Well it has been a week since I last updated. I am down to 298.5! So pumped... I started at 307 so thats not too bad of a decrease in two weeks time. Eating well and exercising isn't that hard. I barely crave any shit food other than pizza once in a while. I am also able to run a ton more in my hockey games than I was able to before. Awesome... and only 2 weeks in. I will be amazing by our January goals!

Tomorrow is my 6 month anniversary with Amy! I am so excited for it. We have a hotel rented in North York attached to where Amy works! That means no rush hour traffic to get home, no rush hour driving to get to work in the morning! I could not ask for anything better. The place even has a 24/7 pool and sauna! Oh my. We will be hitting up some restaurant for some dinner and wine prior to our exciting evening! So happy.

Otherwise I am just closing out summer now. Work is busy and I have a ton of things to get completed before I can leave back to school. Next Friday looks like it will be my last day. Then the big party, and then a return to London for this boy.

150 is 1/2 what I am today!

Well, diet day 2 is on, go me! The title of this post is to symbolize two things - 1) This is my 150th post in this blog, 2) I have dropped to 300lbs.

I am a heavy bitch, but two days ago I weighed in at 307. Hopefully I can keep a decent downward even though I know 6 pounds every two days is unrealistic. I am still eating well and sticking with this diet. I like it, and the food isn't half bad ether. I still can have a beer every day :P

I am starting to get excited for school to start up. Wait. No. I cannot fucking wait for school to start up again. I love it there. It will be sad being my last year but I think every moment of it should be enjoyable. I still need to make a little more money this summer, have a few things I still need to purchase... mainly a new laptop, new runners and that sweet back pack at lu lu lemon. Then I am ready for school again.

Ah well, I am now counting the hours til I get to bike home. Woot.

Me so hungy...

Well, in the ever running goal of good health, today is day one of the diet. I NEVER thought I would do it, but here I am. Booklet of info, logging foods, quantities and more! It's not too bad right now, although I am hungry. My manager decided to have Wendy's for lunch which was just taunting me...not cool.

Amy is back from her New York vaca. I was happy to go pick her up in Buffalo and spend the weekend with her! She got me a sick Quicksilver shirt and a nice LV Messanger bag.

I think I am slowly going the way of the environmentalist... eating healthy, giving up shit foods... yoga... next to go is bottled water. I found my Nalgene bottle, and I think its time to go back to filling it daily.

She returns to me

Yay! Amy comes back tomorrow! That makes me excited. I may go pick her up in Buffalo, or else I will just meet her in Oakville for her surprise welcome home I have arranged. Got her friends together and we are going bowling!

This week has been good and I've kept myself nice and busy. Went to the Jays game on Tuesday. They were playing the Yankee's and I got to witness two bench clearings! So awesome. Last night I attended the Mariposa Skating Gala. It was also quite good, everyone skated amazing and I got to meet up with some friends after who I had not seen in a while.

I'm working all day today, then have a hockey game at 9:00pm. I'm not sure where, but myself and Jono are heading out to cause trouble tonight. Should be a blast, it always is.

It's a case of the Monday's

Just another Monday after an amazing weekend. Sadly, my love Amy (above) is gone to New York for a week. I am more jealous than anything. I had a great weekend though. Jays game, hanging with Amy and a joyous night at Lauren's cottage. I am tanned to a crispy brown now.

Eating well and exercising is now one week in! My only real slip was saturday afternoon when I had some beers and wings. Otherwise I have been eating great. I've stopped logging because I've got it in my head just to avoid bad foods (I'm 3+ weeks without pizza, my favorite food ever). I am pumped to start yoga again tonight. I hit up Lu Lu Lemon on Friday and picked up a DVD and a new yoga mat. Quite pumped to be able to get back into it. Goal is every morning before work. Next week will mean I start doing yoga in the morning, then biking to work. Hello good workout!

What I ate

Day one of my trying to eat well!

7am - 500ml water, 500ml orange juice, 3 omega-3 eggs (fried), two handfuls green grapes
11am - 1.5 litres water, 4 servings triscits crackers, 1 thingy of sweet tarts (bad! but in my bag?)
2pm - 3 pieces of white bread with bit of butter, ceasar salad, chicken breast
4:30pm - 50g trail mix, 2 Red Bull (last ones!!!)
6:30pm - 1 banana
9pm-2am - 8-10 beers (oops) ;)

Back and Improving

Well, it's August 1st. This day has been planned and coming for quite a while, but its hear now. Let's see if I can finally, finally, finally, keep with the plan. So what is the deal with August 1st? It's the start of my losing weight challenge. I am going to California in a month, and I want to look a little better, but more so, I am going to Cancun (or somewhere similar) in February, and myself, and Amy, want to look fucking sexy when we do it.

So, I start today... for a goal date of January 18, and a final deadline of February 13.

The month of August is going to be transition month. My goal is mainly to start losing weight. Start biking to work instead of being a lazy bitch and taking a car. I want to start waking up at decent hours (5:30am today, woo, I'm thinking 6am would be good).

On Saturday I am hitting up Lu Lu Lemon (my secret addiction) to finally pick up a yoga mat, and I am going to get one of their yoga dvd's so I can do it at home. My goal is to start as of next Monday, doing yoga 5-6 times a week. When I get back to school I want to get back into doing yoga as well, and do the Thursday and Friday night classes.

Drinking is also more or less done. I will do it periodically, but I am going to try and avoid it at all costs. Plus I save money that way. I have already got pop out of my diet and have had half a can of coke in the past two weeks. Coffee is coming back in I think, black, because I want to cut energy drinks out after my last two red bulls are gone.

I am also going to be keeping track of what I eat so that at some point I can get someone to analyze additional ways I can improve my diet etc. I will be posting it here to keep a log better than on paper.

Oh, I've also set up a traineo site for myself... mikebroley.traineo.com. It is good for keeping track of information so I can watch myself improve. Yay.

200g misc. gummies

I figured since it was my last day before really working at myself, I should have some of my favorite things ... sausage, chicken wrap, gummies etc.

Let's see how tomorrow goes.
