Seasons Fade... Fevers Rage... It's a Slow Decay

I hae never been more beat down after a nights sleep than I was today. I felt like vommiting, couldn't keep my eyes open, could barley walk and just gerenerally felt like a train wreck. I think it was because of everything that happened yesterday.

It was a solid 18 hours on campus. I had a 15 minute break in which I got to go home and drop off things and change. That was the only time not at good ol' Western.

The highlight of the entire day came from a contest being offered by CHRW 94.9FM. Moneen was doing a live studio accoustic show, and they were going to let people put their names in a draw and try to win one of ten seats in the studio. I got there two hours early just to sit and do work until the contest runners got there. I put my name, and Diane's and stated talking to the guy running it. 20 minutes later I got back to studying when he came up and asked my name and my friends. I told him and he went back, and took them out of the draw box and put them in his pocket. Needless to say, we both got to go.

They played an awesome set. It was short, only 4 songs, but what they played was fantastic. Their in between banter ranged from completly random jokes, to ammusing stories from the road. Overall I was a happy kid, we got to meet them and get some posters signed afterwards too.

The next highlight was definetly at frisbee practice. Firckin' Hammered is back in full swing with a few new players, but leave it to me to do something stupid. Running back full speed to blow a toss, I jumped into the air and swatted down the frisbee. The only problem was there was no time between hitting the frisbee, and hitting a giant oak tree full force. I was nearly KO'd and my knee has hurt to walk on since. But it was supposedly hilarious.

Now I just have to continue to push through. This is going to be a super busy week getting ready for my three tests next week. I'm sure I will live though. Until next time.
