Chasing Cars

Another week, another lack of posts. I just haven't had a desire. I want to do it more though or else my goal of logging my ever interesting life will die.

This week was relatively uneventful... actually, that is a lie. Wednesday night was Jeffy's 20th birthday. It involved so much alcohol intake that I was still drunk Thursday afternoon. Bad idea. Had a Charity event Thursday night that also involved a little more booze, and once again was a bad idea. Did meet a cool girl Meghan, who in turn, had photos from the Sex Hypnotist ! Bonus!

Friday was spent at work, and so was Saturday. I did chill with Meghan on Saturday night which was fun. I recommend nobody in their right, sane mind watches Superman Returns when it comes out on Tuesday. It was a terrible waste of space.

Today on the other hand was probably one of the bestest days I have had all year. Lauren and me took off around 9:30am to pick up Shannon, and some much needed Starbucks. When then made way to Brampton to pick up Ashley, and some super awesome Raptor's tickets. We got to the Air Canada Center and tried to enter, but we shuffled to a special "VIP" entrance to the platinum lounge. Bonus. Down there we got to enter the ACC. We were one row from the court. It was unbelievable. The most amazing seats I think I have ever had to anything. You could, as Ashley said "See the hickey on #12's neck".

Ended up meeting the Raptor's cheerleaders, Lanny McDonald, AND getting to see my sister who also attended the game. It was fantastic. Afterwards we went back to Lauren's house for an amazing steak dinner care of her parents. Overall fantastic day. I even got to sleep the whole way home!

This week should be hell. I am going to bring a live investigative report from the library most days I think, because that is where I will likely be living for the next month. Adios.

Whoa, two Used song titles in a row, go me. I didn't realize until today the music collection that was sitting on my other computer. So many songs, bands etc. that I haven't heard in forever were just sitting there waiting for me to listen again. It's been wonderful.

This weekend has been ridiculous though. I worked 5pm-1am on Friday. Didn't manage to make it to bed til 4am though which was terrible. My alarm at 6am was a VERY rude awakening. Fall Preview Day was awesome though. Definitely spent 5-6 hours on a charter bus giving campus tours though which was amazing. Overall it was a great day and I think a lot of cool people will be joining up at Western next year.

We capped the night off with a dinner at the Rockwater Brewery. Was a great place, amazing wings. I did learn a valuable lesson though... Caribbean Jerk does not mean nice and sweet.... it means hot as hell. I burnt my mouth to crisp on them, but they were delicious.

Last night I also went to the Grad Club to catch UFC 65. So nice to see St.Pierre defeat Hughes for the Welterweight belt. He kicked the living shit out of him. Was awesome.

Today has been a nothing day. Cleaned the kitchen and living room, my room, and did more loads of laundry than I thought I have. Just came home from my Water Polo game not too long ago. We won, again. Yay! Next round is Saturday.

Say Days Ago

Me and Ash being retards

I didn't die, I just also realized I havn't posted in over a week. Stupid me, I'll have to remember to do it more. Life has been quite busy in London this week, and the last week or so has been a great relief before the next month and a half of stress that is bound to occur.

Highlights... Lacoste Party at the Frog, getting smammerd and having a great night with the roomies and neighbors... having my first tour with Carla... Robin's b-day, and challenging an Undercover police officer to a fight... Firckin' Hammered's last frisbee game of the season (sad!)... winning our first round of Polo playoffs... and last night....

Last night we all decided to go to Tony Lee, the "X-rated Hypnotist". I ended up on stage, along with JC and thats when things turned ugly.... Just a small list of some of the embarrasnig things...

- Being chip'n'dale's dancers for some b-day girls
- Pretending to, pleasure ourselves, to fake porn
- JC pretending to be a playboy bunny on a photo shoot
- Being "so impressed" with everything the hypnotist said for a solid hour
- Moon'ing the crowd every time someone said "Todd"
- JC kissing my bum when the crowd chanted Todd and I moon'd them

Thats just a small list, the rest I am going to try and just ignore or pretend never happened. It was definetly an awesome night. Best part was he sent us into the crowd at the end of the show, and we didn't have a clue that the show had happened. We just wanted to leave. We went into the bathroom and put our boxers on our head thinking it was a hat, and every person who shook our left had gave us an "orgasm". I didn't know what the hell was going on until we walked outside and BAM! remembered most everything that happened. So embarassing. There was a giant crowd waiting. Oh well, it was definetly a fun night.... and my second time being hypnotized!

This weekend is full of work and I'm not too excited. Blockbuster tonight, Fall Preview Day tommorow on campus, and then library/water polo on Sunday. Oh well, Christmas is just over a month away!!!!!

Next week is going to be highlighted by a lot of time in the library, and then capped with the Raptors game on Sunday. Lauren scored us some Courtside seats (care of her dad!!) and a couple of us are heading down. So excited. Anyways, back to Criminology for me.

Such Great Heights

In only 9 1/2 hours midterms are done. I don't even know if that scares me or makes me happy any more. I'm doing good, I just feel like I could have done a little better. It's unbelievable how much reading I have to keep up on top of. Oh well, I'm still happy.

I spent today in the library, then at a tour guide meeting, and now reading and studying at home. I'm debating how much sleep I should tae tonight. I want to read til about 2am, but then do I study more til 3 or 4, or do I get up at 6 or 7 and go from there. It's such a toss up and I really don't know.

Tommorow is going to be such a long boring day. One exam, 5 hours of class, 4 hours of foot patrol then a group project meeting. I'll get home at 11pm and I plan to CRASH at that point. Sleep til my class the next day. It'll be grand. I really need to clean my room at some point though. It has gotten quite dirty with the lack of me being around lately.

Exciting news is that my dad should be coming down on Saturday. Finally get to take him out on the town in London. Show him the bars, etc. Should be a blast. After that it is just hibernation mode for the rest of the month as I prepare for my finals. Ugh. Tommorows only goal after my exam is to finish my 8 month plan. Yay.

So, H2N04 was simply amazing. Best party we have ever had in the three years at University. Impressive, I know. Check the photos out... they explain the night better than any of us ever can. Sunday was a rough shift at work but was jacked for frisbee! We ended up losing to Bu$ine$$ 8-4 or something lame. That ended our season. I followed that up with some solid Psychology reading.

Today was just a long ass day. Woke up at 8, went to the library at 8;30, and remained there til my exam at 7 minus a brief break to go to class and grab Tim Hortons. I think all the hard work paid off though which is nice.

Tonight I saw the Borat movie.. it is possibly THE funniest movie I have seen in a very long time. It even beats out Jackass 2. Cohen is an amazing actor, and his humor is just beyond funny. I was crying from 30 seconds into the movie til an hour after we left. Go see it. I know I will be going again some time soon.

Tommorow is shaping up to be another day in the library, and I'm slightly excited. I have bene enjoying it more than usual latley. Maybe its all the girls :P Who knows. I plan to hibernate there for the next month so I do well on my finals, and cuz I finally have the time to just study leasurly. Yay!

I Don't Feel Very Receptive Today

Well, the last two days have been the most intense case of cathing up on sleep imaginable. I wrote my Crim exam on Thursday morning, gave the tour from hell, and then slept the day off. Today I woke up, gave a tour, slept the day away and then went to work. It's bad, I missed out on so much sleep over the last few days that I just needed to catch it all up.

I doubt between Saturday and Wednesday I will get much sleep ether. I have exams Monday and Wednesday, and I have a lot of work and stuff to do in between. I'm not too worried though which is nice. One might wonder how to celebrate, none other than the Lacoste "pop your collar" party. Should be interesting, I'll bust out the Lacoste for the first time in a while. I think my biggest goal is going to be to score a giftbag.

Otherwise not much is exciting. H2N04 is tommorow. It is looking promising to be the biggest party we've had. Ever. Lots of people, lots of booze, lots of costumes, so who can complain. Should be amazing. Just sad that I have to work 9-5 before it. Boo. Oh well, just means more hilarious photos will exist.

Evil in the City

Bunnies Bunnies

So.. Halowe'en. I don't even know where to begin. Pre-drink started at 9, drunk by 9:45. Limo got there at 9:45 as promised. This is the first nice surprise we got. It was a stretch Navigator limo. So pimped out. We took it down to the bar and the rest of the night was rather hazy.

I went as "Bunny the Lifeguard". Brought to populatrity from the one and only Chris Pontias. The bar was really nice. We hit up Robinson Hall and Thorny Devil. Upstairs ended up being VIP so we all chilled downstairs and drank away. Eventually I set out on my mission and managed to weasel my way upstairs. Big change up there, it was about 90% female which was awesome.

I met a lot of people, and my costume seemed to attract a ridiculous amount of atteniton. Maybe because I was just wearing a bikini top? I met a very georgeous blonde dressed like an angel, but she had to go to early for my liking. Otherwise I just had a drunken time explaining my costume, dancing, slipping, and doing whatever I happened to do.

Made it out of the bar at 2:30am realizing all my friends had long left. Ended up meeting up with two girls I vaguley knew and we went for late night pizza. They paid for the cab home which was awesome! That's where the worst part of my night happened... I was locked out. After knocking on the door for half an hour, I gave up and just crashed in the hall in front of my door. That left me in rough shape this morning so I had to have an additional nap. Now I feel great.

Exam tommorow morning which I am not looking forward to at all. Then I get to give a tour and start studying for my exams next week. Yay. The best news out of all of it is that H2N04 is in 3 days and it will be amazing.
